Description: This is a fine pair of Repousse Coin Silver Creamer and Handled Bowl by R&W Wilson of Philadelphia from about 1850. Together they weigh 627.6 grams or 20.18 troy oz. The handled bowl is 3 3/4" tall, 5 5/8" wide with the handles, the opening is 3 1/16" wide, the foot is 3 1/8" wide and it weighs 350.6 grams. The Creamer is 4" tall with the handle, 5 3/8" wide with the handle, 4 3/8" wide without it, it weighs 277 grams. They are both marked R.& W. Wilson Philada on the bottom. Both test as Coin Silver, 90%. Wonderful Repousse work in a floral design, very high detail. The rims and feet are 2mm thick. Bought from Randy Keene, a wise dealer in Silver and Gold from N. Wilmington Delaware. Randy set up at Brimfield, Mass for over 40 years. These will shipped insured and well packed.
