Description: Antique Coiffe Limoges Bowl, Art Nouveau Asymmetrical Design, 1890s Serving Bowl This was probably a specialty piece for a client and the pattern is absolutely wonderful. I have never seen one quite like this. Art nouveau in style with gilded edges and a floral offset pattern. This is a rare piece. Lovely for display, serving, or as a vegetable bowl. The scalloped edges are a wonderful addition. I would date this piece to the mid 1890's. Coiffe Limoges was imported as such between 1891 and 1914 This piece was made in France and imported to NY by L.S. & S.
