Featuring a round edge with raised gilded beading, it is heavily accented with gold transfer scrollwork over pink roses - border is deep cobalt blue - color combination is unusual - I believe this is a Drop Rose variation pattern. Marked HAVILAND FRANCE Haviland & Co. Limoges (note this is in gold), believe it dates around the 1900s - please note, even the back rim is accented in gold. Condition is wonderful with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, utensil marks, missing gilding, discoloration or damage - does not appear to have been used - it was displayed as a cabinet plate when acquired.
