Description: These plates are very special and feel regal! The decor is simple and elegant with its long wispy lines. The blush pink and sage coloration in the vine-like decorations has been hand painted. The plates are just over 10" in diameter and weigh a combined 12 pounds. The back of the plate has been inscribed with the date they were made "Dec. 1, 1910", "EWN" and "GMD." EWN is the monogram seen in the middle of the plate. It is a bit hard to make out the calligraphy with its abundant flourishes. I believe "GMD" are the artists' initials. The Haviland France stamp seen on the back was used from 1894-1931. The plates are in excellent used condition, for their age. There are no chips, cracks or stains. There is some wear in the gold detailing. One plate (seen in the last photo) has more wear than the others but still has more life in it.
