Wonderfully hand carved and glazed in terrific Wucai palette. The back is fully carved out. There are thumbprints present into the clay. This piece is likely antique, dating to the late Qing through early Republic era, circa 1900 - 1940 - but it could possibly be older.A great object for study or display, this will make a nice addition to any student or appreciators collection of Chinese art and artifacts.Overall, less-than-fair condition. Repair present below the wrist point of the left hand. Hairline crack present along the shin line of the robes. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering.
