Description: "Ball Blue Book of Canning and Preserving Recipes". This antique booklet from the Ball Brothers Glass Co. is a rare find for collectors of canning and preserving recipes. Published between 1919-1922 (there are no print dates on these early Ball booklets but I've been able to date it via research on it's series letter "L"), it contains a variety of instructions for creating jams, preserves, and other culinary creations plus instructions for caring for fruit trees and vines. This is a very, very hard booklet to find in print now (a recent search found no others available) and would make a great addition if you collect these antique Ball booklets. Condition: Booklet cover and 1st page are rough and detached from the rest of the pamphlet. Otherwise in good condition for its age. Some foxing throughout and light pencil check marks/numbers on some pages. Please see photos. Booklet will be shipped in archival sleeve with backing board and cardboard protection.
