Description: Scarce original antique copy of "Barnes & Mullins Complete Theoretical & Practical Banjo School for Progressive & Systematic Introduction in Banjo Playing from the most Elementary Studies to the Highest Grade of Perfection." The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It is a large softcover volume which measures approximately 14 inches by 10 inches and is 74 page long. The original folding Banjo chart poster is still present; it measures approximately 13 7/8 inches by 29 1/2 inches. The book has no printed publishing date, but there is an advertisement on the backside of the book for Barnes & Mullins's Musically Monthly, "The Troubadour," which states the periodical is in its 17th year. This dates the book to about 1910 since the periodical was first published around 1893. The covers have some mild wear with a later music store label towards the bottom of the front cover. The interior is lightly toned from age but are mostly nice and clean with just a page or two with some very minor penciled notation. Along with that, there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness or some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a tiny chip or tear, light wrinkle, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
