Antique 1873 German Family Teaching Holy Bible Genology History Prints Tintype

Description: Family German Teaching Bible Printed in 1873 This rather large German Family Bible has a little bit of everything. Dedications pages have some details as well as the inside cover has some notes attached. There is also a clear tintype attached. Only one - put yet its a nice piece of history. Numerouse prints exists The bible is Dated 1873 - while it's all in German, the plates and other illustrations has english text. I used Google translate on some pages and it works well even though some type is difficult to make out. See some photos. There are dates on the dedication page that list way back to the early 19th century. There is a marriage certificate attached that is dated 1858. CONDITION - The book is antique in nature so it would go without saying that there is antque wear. One of the most notable concerns is in the binding. The hard embossed cover is detached as are a few of the first pages. The rest is intact. The spine has damage and has lost it cover - in some area time has made it gone missing. While these concerns are notable - the rest of the book is in good qualtiy as are most of the prints. Some pages have the normal staining or ghosting on the velum that you usuallly see with these antique bibles. I collect a wide assortment so I understand some of the concerns and also some of the value of each print as well as the other pieces listed inside this wonderful piece.
