RESIN 3D PRINTED 1/64 1969 FORD GALAXIE 500 FASTBACK BODY

Item Description: Up for auction is a 3D resin printed 1/64 scale 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback body as shown. As is with most 3D printed large surfaces, this has a matte finish and a grainy/layered feel as shown so prep work is required for a great finish, but the effort is well worth it to have a body not easily found otherwise. The layered or ringing finish is predominantly seen on the top surfaces (hood, roof, deck) due to the printed layer thickness set to .05mm (.0019") which provides the best print quality at an affordable price. This body was printed with an overall length of 84.8mm, an overall width of 31.67mm and an overall height of 19.34mm, but please verify these dimensions to be acceptable PRIOR to purchasing. 3D printed resin typically cures to a hard form which makes it more brittle to work with. I have started adding a percentage of flexible resin to combat this issue, however care and patience must still be maintained. Please research and understand 3D UV cured resin products to know exactly what to expect and the best ways to work with, prepare, assemble and paint it.
