Description: These handmade soap bars were made using the cold processed soap method. They are cured for six weeks before listing, and continue curing until sold. They are not wrapped and packaged until the order comes in. This way bars continue to drop a miniscule amount of water weight every day, becoming even longer-lasting. We add aloe vera harvested from our own yard to a hydrosol water which we distill ourselves from a variety of fragrant herbs and rose petals also harvested from our yard. The Aloe makes the soap creamier and infuses it with additional benefits for our skin besides a natural and subtle fragrance provided by the hydrosol water. Normally our objective when formulating a recipe is to produce a well balanced soap that will leave the skin feeling clean and fresh without drying it out. However, this recipe is the simplest and most basic of all our recipes . The only oil used is Beef Tallow. Being such a well balanced ingredient on its own, it is possible to make a very unadulterated bar of soap using just this one oil ingredient. Very popular for those with sensitive skin and also leaves hair feeling soft and silky. We left these bars free of any colorants or fragrance oils. Just plain and basic soap. The only subtle fragrance comes naturally from the hydrosol water. Each individual bar weighs around 5oz. They are big bars, but they fit comfortably in the hand thanks to a beveling of all the edges and corners. Cured and carefully packaged, we try (and mostly achieve) same day shipping. Packaged in 3 packs of 3 bars per pack, for a total of 9 bars of soap. Bundled for maximum savings. Also, the longer they sit in a dry place, the more longer-lasting the bars will become. Works out wonderfully for long time storage.
