They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. These buttons have a wonderful 3-D quality and beautiful finely carved details. Each measures approx. 1 1/8" long and has no hole or shank. They are blue/green glass painted on the front with brown enamel. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!!
