Description: For sale is an April 7,1965 original, authenticated Chicago Tribune Archives press photograph, featuring golf legend Arnold Palmer. This was taken during a practice round in that year's Masters. On the back are all of the news room stampings, and a clip from the news paper. Also, included on the back, is a Chicago Tribune issued Photo I.D. bar code. This corresponds to the code on the Chicago Tribune Photo Archives issued Certificate of Authenticity. Also, included, is a distinctive, navy blue Chicago Tribune folder. The 7" X 7" photograph is in solid condition, no rips or tears. There is some minor news room handling. Arnold Palmer finished 2nd in that year's Masters, tied with Gary Player. Palmer had won his 4th & final green jacket, in 1964, and placed the jacket on winner Jack Nicklaus. Original Type 1 Masters related photographs of 1960's golfing greats are tough to find. (This write-up is not A.I.). Buyer to pay $5 safe & secure shipping.
