1987 Lissi Batz TATJANA Doll with Certificate, Collector China Plate, Post Card

Description: This awarded Doll of the Year was purchased new by my grandma in the 1992 release year. She was briefly displayed in a curio cabinet. Signature German wooden toy is still tied to her right wrist, still sealed in the original packaging. The left wrist has the hang tag. Everything from head to toe is in wonderful condition. Hair and straw hat are also beautiful. She comes with a large metal display stand that you can see her feet standing on. Grandma always taped a scrap of paper underneath, showing what she paid, $175 on this one. Also included is the original Certificate that shows she was produced in the Lissi Doll Factory in October 1992, Number 529/2000. Also has the story and family tree of the Lissi doll making family. These have always been kept in the protective sleeve they came in. I don't know what they use for vinyl, but the complexion and softness of Lissi dolls is just beautiful. The lips even appear moist! I am also including the porcelain Collector Plate, showing this doll and two others as Award Winners by Doll Reader Magazine. 8 1/4" diameter, with a hanger on the back. Made in Germany, just like the dolls. Never displayed, excellent condition. Lastly, the Order Summary from when the plate was purchased in 1993 for $29.95, and a blank postcard with the same picture as the plate, that has a little edge wear, and a pinhole from maybe being displayed on a corkboard. She has been in smoke free home storage for some time, along with all the other dolls from her collection. Thank you for looking, and for considering giving her a new home.
