Description: We go to estate sales regularly and come across a wide array of unique and rare items. We add to our growing online inventory daily. We pick up new items from all over the world and all over the US. We also have a growing customer wish list. If you'd like to, feel free to add us to your saved seller's list and let us know what you collect and/or need. We’d be honored to add you to our customer wish list.We ask what we consider to be a fair price for anything we sell and understand that our idea of a fair price may be someone else's 'that's too much' price. If that's the case, feel free to make us an offer and will consider it. We also have sales regularly, so check back often. There is always a Sale by TheBay!We purchased a very large classical and jazz album collection from a former DJ for a local Atlanta area radio station back in the 1950s-1970s years ago. We bought the collection for the jazz albums, but never got around to listing the classical albums. Almost every album is a radio station promo album and the are all in exceptional condition with jet black vinyl and look like they could've been pressed yesterday. We've picked up several other classical album collections along the way as well and we will be listing some individually and some in lots. It will take us a while to list them all given that we have about 2,000 of them. As with everything we sell, we offer combined shipping and only charge whatever the quoted rate is based on the total weight for media mail. If classical vinyl is your thing, feel free to add us to your favorite sellers list and check out our inventory as we add more as often as time permits. Now onto the item for sale. For sale is a copy of Beethoven: The Five Piano Concertos 4 LP box set, released by Columbia Masterworks in 1971.PLEASE NOTE: We do not play test albums, as that would take us a lifetime to do for thousands of albums. We give a visual description and estimated grade of the vinyl. Please see the pictures above for an idea of the condition of the vinyl, labels, sleeves and album cover or box, if a box set. If there are any condition issues, such as scratches, seam splits or other issues, we will indicate that in the description. These albums all have a handful or so really light scratches on each side and some light prints and spots on the vinyl. The prints and spots will almost certainly come off with a proper cleaning, such as an ultrasonic cleaning and there are plenty of sites and videos online showing how to properly clean albums without an ultrasonic cleaning machine. We'd estimate that these albums are in very good condition and even better once given a proper cleaning. The labels are very clean as you can see. The album sleeves are in excellent condition, but one has a 2" seam split on the bottom. The previous owner also wrote his name on one sleeve at the top right corner. The album box is in great condition as well with some minor wear expected on a 53 year old box. The corners are split on the top of the box. This album set will weigh 2 to 3 pounds and will be shipped in a cardboard album box via media mail with the USPS.Thanks for looking and God bless!
