This is an original press photo. There was no doubt about the identify of a flying saucer that flew over Davis, California, Thursday. It was piloted by its designer, Paul S. Moiler, 30, professor at aerodynamics at the University of California at Davis. It was the first demonstration of the craft, which is 14 feet in diameter, four feet thick, and is powered by two 90-horsepower engines. Though it attained an altitude of only two feet, it convinced spectators of the ability of flying saucer to fly. Photo measures 9.75 x 6.75inches. Photo is dated 04-21-1967.
