Description: Original 1966 Pontiac GTO Trunk Lid. No major dents, rust holes or tears. There are absolutely no rust holes anywhere in the trunk lid. The only rust is minor surface rust along the interior edges of the trunk, which can easily be wire wheeled or sanded. After sanding the surface rust off, I would probably apply a product like Eastwoods After Blast to neutralize any rust, which you just spray on and wipe off. All factory tack welds along the trunk skin connections on the underside edges are very good and in place. These decklids are becoming very hard to find in this condition, and China is not making reproduction trunk lids for 1966, which are never quite like the original GM metal pieces when they do make them.
