No shortage of this with this 1963 Aurora Customizing Monster Kit made in 1963. This is series 1, Kit no. 463-98. Made to go with Aurora's Universal Monster series models - Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolfman, the Mummy, etc. These little additions were apparently made to scale for those monsters too. I'm afraid it's not complete but almost. I know it's four pieces short - missing one of the snake heads, one rat (2-pieces for each half) and the rib cage. I did the best I could in trying to figure this out. Condition - all pieces are in very good condition - no cracks and clean. Some had been preassembled, but the glue used was not that aggressive, so they came apart easily and also easy to clean off the glue residue. A few pieces did have some light browning, but this was very few and browning was quite small. Box lid is colorfully great & very light wear on the corners. From the edges the lid bows inwards slightly, there are like 2 pin holes that you'll only see with light glare. I cleaned the lid but not too aggressively so there might be some dirt residue but if there is, the art hides it very well. The flaw with the box base is obvious and please view the pictures. The instructions do have obvious and noticeable brown spots. Despite me being transparent about the flaws, it really is a nicely preserved model kit and box; especially when considering its age and it was played with.
