Description: We have for your shopping pleasure this used OEM used 1947 1948 speedometer/odometer. I am cleaning out my pole barn; it was leftover from my personal restoration of a 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. Working condition is unknown; sold for parts as is. This is a nice survivor that would be a great candidate for a restoration. It is in good overall condition for its age with normal wear. The glass face is nice with no cracks. The numbers and background under the face have an aged patina. The main housing and backside look good with no damage. Bezel is good with good shine, some pitting, and light rust. The needle was hand-turned from the backside and it moved and came back down to read zero. The odometer rolled over by tenths as well.
