Description: Walt Disney's Bambi, copyright 1941 by Walt Disney Productions, was based on Felix Salten's Bambi, a Life in the Woods and released as a companion piece to Disney's 1942 animated Bambi movie. Book is marked Third Printing, Simon and Schuster publishers. Full color and black and white illustrations throughout in Disney's soft, painterly style; four "gallery" pictures at the front of the book intended to be removed and displayed are all present in this copy. Hardcover with dust cover. This book is in great vintage condition: wear and tearing to the dust cover, some wear to cover particularly at corners and edges, pages all very nice, binding good, fully readable copy. Crack along gutter just inside front and rear covers, all still well attached. No tears, folds, or missing pages.
