A great original 1924 Prohibition Prescription for Spirits Frumenti , the pharmaceutical term for whiskey - oi - (fluid pint) - in hot tea :) This prescription was prescribed on Nov. 23, 1924, written for Mary E Kurtz of Missouri and filled by Pharmacist Irving Sirota, Washington, D.C. It was issued on Treasury Department paper (currency) - In the center is the old treasury seal with the inscription "Thesaur. Amer. Septent Sigil." Also featured in the shield are a key and of course the scales of justice. When you hold this paper to the light you can read its watermark. An awesome piece of Americana! A documented time piece!
