Description: Beautiful Al Smith check lightly mounted on board for framing. I took a couple pictures lifting up the check but I don’t want to try to remove it as I don’t want to hurt it. The check look great as is, and the firm backing allows for both easy handling and protection, no doubt exactly why it is in such great condition. (When I bought this about 30 years ago it was framed, all I did was take it out of the frame long ago; if I had framed it I would have used plastic “corners” but there’s nothing I can do about that now! Still a great looking check and perfect signature). This check is now 100 years old!
