Description: Lovely old copy of Longfellow's, "The Song of Hiawatha," with black and white illustrations by Frederic Remington. The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. There is no printed publishing date, but the last copyright date is 1890 and there is a period gift inscription to the front fep dated 1906. The front pastedown has a nice old book plate adhered to it. The covers only have some minor wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with just the occasional light bit of foxing or grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, minor interior crack, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 8 inches by 5 1/4 inches and is 180 pages long. Please look at all the photos to further note the condition.
