I am human and sometimes miss a thing or 2, but I try to mention the book's main faults. all of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees good minus condition.... for its age:boards - very secure, back cover looks pretty good, not perfect but not awful either / gilt on front cover has areas of fadingtextblock- pages secure except the blank rear end paper which is almost detachedouter joints- very good back one/ the front one...top 1/3 is ugly, middle looks pretty good, bottom 1/3 looks better than the top but still a bit ugly - see last picture for top partspine ends- top 1 with some wear / bottom one evenly chipped across - see picture 11tips- worn through and touched upinner hinges- both shown - not to good lookingpages- very clean - 3 small red spots / red marbled endpapers are missing from the front and the backwriting- nonerips /folds - apx 5 small rips that I saw / apx 20 leaves folded -bottom tip / 1 very small chip to bottom margin / much wear to the rear blank end paper edgesother: - if the spine was suppose to have gilting, it has faded to a green color -don't forget to check out my mom's Civil war books!
