On one side, there is a large cartouche that has been monogrammed “Fargo”. This piece belonged to William Fargo's family. He started the stagecoach company, and later Wells Fargo Bank.There are no hallmarks, which is not unusual for American coin silver. This piece has been tested and is guaranteed to be coin silver.
