With 1 plate of the author as the frontispiece. Bound with A CALL TO THE UNCONVERTED TO TURN AND LIVE, AND ACCEPT OF MERCY WHILE MERCY MAY BE HAD by Rev. Richard Baxter, and published by William Sharp, Romsey, 1816. Containing directions and persuasions to a sound conversation. Split into 7 Doctrines. Romsey imprints are rare! Bound in leather, with both boards detached and the boards being mismatched. The front boards is leather, and the rear is quarter leather bound on a marble hardboard. With a leather spine covering. Heavy rubbing to the leather, and rear hardboard. Bumped and chipped to head and tail of spine. Binding tight. A pen inscription is to the front free endpaper, otherwise pages clean. This book is in overall fair condition. 356 + 216 pages. 21.5 x 13.5 cm.
