Red decal tape assures you will never have to paint!Our 4 ft. - 12 ft. windmills feature grease inserts and bearings so that your windmill will operate smoothly and efficiently. Our 18 ft. - 30 ft. have a vesconite bushing in place of a bearing. No grease or maintenance is required for our larger models!All windmills include ground anchors so that your windmill will be safe from wind and will be solid for years to come. We recommend that concrete is used for 8 ft. models and larger.Windmills are measured for base, to tip of fan. The 18 ft. windmill has a 48" fan and a 54" square baseShipping boxes are (1) 3" X 7" X 99" apx. 54 Lbs. Simple installation should take between 2-5 hours depending on size, ground type and skill. It is important that you check your local codes and bylaws before ordering. All of our products are shipped via Semi-truck (common carrier). Each windmill is shipped in two packages, one package contains the tower pieces (thin long box), the second box contains fan assembly (large thin square box). The customer should be home to inspect the boxes for any damage, and note that on the shipping bill. Your order will arrive on a pallet, that is delivered curbside with packing material. The freight carrier's responsibility is to deliver the pallet at the base of your drive way, no other responsibilities should be assumed. Freight carrier will not and cannot assist in the unpacking, unloading, movement or placement of the product. Customer is responsible to be present and sign the bill of lading for shipment, and note any damages. Also customer is responsible for the disposal of all packing material. Our products can be very heavy and need to be handled with extreme care. Additional people may be necessary for handling, unpacking, movement and set up of items. It is a good idea to have 2 people to assist you, if you’re unsure, contact us for a general idea of assistance you may need. Customer is responsible for unpacking shipment, disposing of packing materials and inspecting for damage. Contact must be made to Potteryland-Online within 48 hours if item is damaged or missing parts. Proof of damage may be necessary, and customer may need to photograph the damage.
