The Gelbbraun (Yellow Brown) Ausf L, turret number 5, has spare wheels and a tow cable on its hull deck. The nicely weathered Panzergrau (Panzer Gray) Ausf H, turret number 531, has a large bag and two jerry cans on its hull deck. After realizing that producing a thousand or so units of each tank could not be done at competitive pricing using metal injection, the company decided they would use a process called Low Melting Point ABS for all new releases. This process had no tooling costs and allowed producing higher quality (more detailed) models and making them in limited quantities. Prototypes of new tanks (British Crusader and US M10 Wolverine) and artillery (Pak 40 and Flak 88 anti-tank guns) were exhibited at the 2007 New York Toy Fair and the Pak 40 was announced as ready for production in 2008. Unfortunately, none of these prototypes were ever produced. Their 1:18th Squadron line ended in 2009, when their announced release of a Douglas Dauntless SBD never happened. 2 PzKpfw III Ausf L and Ausf H released Summer 2006 and acquired new August 2006 from Burbank's House of Hobbies. 3 PzKpfw III Ausf M released December 2007 and acquired new January 2008 from eBay Auction.
