10 Vintage Landmark Pictorial Cover Hardback Book Lot Frogmen Bolivar Paratroops

Description: Large Lot of 10 Vintage Hardback Landmark Books with some harder to find titles, such as Simon Bolivar, US Frogmen, and Paratroops. These are in conditions ranging from Very Good to Good Minus condition. I checked each book and they are all complete with no missing text pages and all have tight bindings. Actually several of the books' internal pages appear to be UNREAD or have little use . Two books are rebound pictorial covers. Seven of the books have come from private collections with the other three coming from libraries. No Dust Jackets, as these are the pictorial cover editions. Lot includes: The Story of the Paratroops by George Weller, 1958. Very Good Minus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to be unread. There is a stamp on the first end page from "The Colonial Press, Inc" stating that this is an Imperfect or over-stocked book made available to the employees. There is a darker area inside the front cover, which I am going to assume is the "imperfection" as the rest of the book is tight and clean. Outside covers are nice. The U.S. Border Patrol by Clement David Hellyer, 1963. Very Good Minus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to be unread. There is an inscription on the first end page. Outside covers show some wear. The War in Korea by Robert Leckie, 1963. Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to have had little use. Date stamp on the top page ends. Outside covers show some soiling and wear. Wright Brothers Pioneers of American Aviation by Quentin Reynolds, 1950. Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp inside pages. This is an ex-library book with the expected library markings. Book has a library rebound cover. Outside covers are overall nice. John F. Kennedy and PT-109 by Richard Tregaskis, 1962. Very Good Minus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to be UNREAD. There is some spotting to some of the top page ends but it has no effect to the inside pages. Outside covers show some minor wear. Eisenhower by Malcolm Moos, 1964. Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. This is an ex-library book with the expected library markings, but they are not excessive and the book does not appear to have had much use. Outside covers are nice with some minor wear and fading to the outside spine. The U.S. Frogmen of World War II by Wyatt Blassingame, 1964. Very Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to be Unread. Outside covers show some minor wear primarily to the outside corners. The Barbary Pirates by C. S. Forester, 1953. Good Minus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. This is a special edition printed and distributed by E.M. Hale and Company with arrangement by Random House. This is an ex-library book with the expected library markings. Outside covers are library rebound and show some heavier wear.
